We are back from a hugely successful AAOS 2019 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas. This was our sixth time attending and exhibiting. AAOS for us is a crucial exhibition as it allows us to connect with our US-based clients to discuss 2019/2020 OUS expansion plans and it is the best opportunity for us to share what our experienced team has to offer as well as spend time with new and existing connections.
To achieve these numbers, we utilised our marketing expertise to ensure that our presence at AAOS was known and visible through social media channels, email and, of course, our platform, orthoconnections.com, before the exhibition even started.
Based on the previous five years of exhibiting at AAOS, we knew that it was vital to establish our presence early and to pre-book meetings when possible.
Taking on-board our advice from “Top 10 tips on preparing for a successful exhibition“ we were organised and had a plan of action from the minute the exhibition started on Wednesday morning.
Thanks to our prior planning we had one of the busiest booths in our section of the exhibition hall, with a continuous stream of visitors coming to us, asking about our business, products and the partnering services we provide for global expansion outside of the USA – whether that’s sourcing and managing your sales channels or helping you build your team.
Although AAOS is now over for 2019, we have huge amounts of follow-up to action, as well as actively engaging in the agreed workloads committed to during our meetings.
Let’s hope AAOS 2020 will be even better. I’ll be buying comfy shoes and investing in underlay for the next one though.
