I’ll be attending the International Retained Search Association’s (IRSA) Annual Meeting this month in Charlotte, NC. This will be my 5th meeting I have attended with the IRSA.
I find it hugely valuable to attend these meetings as I get the opportunity to collaborate with others in my field to discuss common issues and share knowledge and experiences.
IRSA members, some of whom are recognised by Forbes, are invited to join because of their expertise in retained executive search with exemplary reputations in their field. All members have to pass a rigorous selection process to join as an IRSA member. I have been a member of the IRSA for five years and have seen it grown year after year. I’m looking forward to meeting up with everyone again.
The agenda for this year’s three-day meeting covers topics including legislative updates, market trends and best practice exchange.
As well as learning more about these topics, the meeting offers a unique opportunity to interact with a highly experienced group of international retained search companies. You are encouraged to join in with the discussions which means all new ideas and perspectives are welcomed. This collaboration helps to ensure that all of us (members) continue to provide the retained executive search service that our clients expect in our respective niches.
This year I’m combining the IRSA meeting with several client meetings across the USA. Some of my stops alongside Charlotte, NC, include; Tampa, St. Petersburg, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Las Vegas.
Many US-based companies want to partner with Ortho Consulting Group to grow their business outside of the USA, either by building their international executive teams or by identifying qualified distributors to grow their international sales channel. I’m completing seven internal flights in the 15 days I am in the USA, and I am looking forward to meeting with existing and new clients!
