The client has now completed several transactions, and are continuously assessing options for acquisitions.
Prior to our engagement, our client had experience sourcing investment and completing acquisitions.
Our brief was to develop opportunities for the client to acquire an upper extremities manufacturer to complement their portfolio.
To support our client with their inorganic growth strategy. We were engaged to deliver a pipeline of acquisition targets through identification, introduction and meeting facilitation.
We developed criteria to define the right potential target companies and identified 80 suitable companies, based on the agreed criteria.
Fifteen companies were shortlisted for initial contact to establish appetite for an acquisition, and we approached and undertook information discovery research.
We delivered eight company profiles of those interested in a transaction, and hosted introduction meetings with interested parties.
Provided a detailed landscape of the market to understand the players, and to make informed decisions about strategy and expansion plans.
We opened up discussions with a pipeline of up to eight acquisition targets.
We also identified other business opportunities for the client, and supported discussions for other business relations such as a potential manufacturing partnership.
