The 30th SECEC-ESSSE Annual Congress takes place at the Dublin Convention Centre. Shoulder and elbow surgery in Ireland has been growing rapidly as a subspecialty the Irish Shoulder and Elbow Society was established in 2016 and hosts the event for the first time.
The programme focuses on preoperative planning in shoulder arthroplasty and muscular transfers, with instructional courses highlighting controversial topics in shoulder and elbow surgery. There will also be a technology session, spotlighting innovative new technology in the field as well as a joint session with EUSSER.
This year organisers have introduced a session titled My Worst Case, where speakers will exchange experiences regarding difficult cases, while there will also be a scientific session by the British Elbow and Shoulder Society.
