American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT) and American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) Electives in Hand Surgery

Since 2004, ASHT and ASSH have collaborated to deliver Electives in Hand Surgery, a biennial course that joins two disciplines to improve patient care.  This year’s course has been converted to a webinar to deliver the top-notch education this course is known for.

The virtual half-day course will highlight the fundamental knowledge with which both therapists and surgeons should be familiar. Common to complex upper extremity pathologies will be reviewed and discussed through an interactive combination of didactic and case-based presentations from experts in their respective fields.

Concurrent programming  will be offered during the program’s final session giving attendees the choice of which topic best meets their needs.
