The 2022 British Association of Spine Surgeons meeting takes place at the International Convention Centre at the heart of Belfast – one of Europe’s most accessible, vibrant and flourishing cities.
The focus for this year’s conference is frailty in spinal surgery. Highlights of the meeting – held in conjunction with the Canadian Spine Society – include a broad programme with guest speakers from across the UK and Europe.
Alongside the main conference, there will be a Spinal Masterclass on March 22, as well as the National Backpain Pathway – Clinical Network Annual Meeting. The annual dinner will be held at the Crumlin Road Gaol, a former Victorian era prison known as Europe’s Alcatraz. This promises to be a venue like no other both in terms of setting and the rich history it provides.
