Ortho Manufacture 2022

After going fully virtual in 2021, the Ortho Manufacture European Congress returns on May 11 and 12 for the fifth time with a full face-to-face meeting in Saint Etienne.
Launched by orthopaedic veterans Olivier Vecten and Philippe Planche in 2017, Ortho Manufacture is the industry’s leading congress for suppliers of implants and surgical instruments manufacturing technologies.
Held in Switzerland or France in alternating years, the 2022 congress will take place at the world class Parc Métrotech facility in the heart of the French orthopaedic manufacturing industry, just 40 minutes from Lyon. An intimate congress that will feature 50 exhibitors from across the orthopaedic, traumatology, spine and dental specialisms, attendees can expect a high level scientific and technical conference with this year’s themes focusing on 3D printing and additive manufacturing, medical robotics and surgical imaging.
“Having worked in the industry for a combined 60 years, we visited all the big events and realised that there wasn’t a show dedicated to implant manufacturers and development,” said Ortho Manufacture founder Philippe. “We focus on the technical exchange between surgeons, researchers and industry. Whether meeting their suppliers or discovering new ones, our attendees are excited to meet face-to-face again following the pandemic. Ortho Manufacture is a hybrid event to ensure the widest audience possible is able to take part, but the exchange of knowledge on technical, medical and legal advances is hugely improved now we are able to meet once again.”
With an anticipated audience of 250 delegates, attendees range from company directors, R&D engineers and project managers, production managers and buyers to sales representatives, quality control specialists and decision makers interested in the latest innovations. The conference programme will be delivered by leading surgeons, researchers and innovative industrialists across two days of talks and lectures, with live broadcasts and chat functionality for those taking advantage of a digital congress pass.
