Transforming the NHS Estate Event 2022

The Second Annual Transforming the NHS estate event 2022 is happening on 27th September 2022, 8:00am – 4:00pm. Hosted at The Kia Oval, London, United Kingdom.


The NHS Estates and Facilities professions are responsible for the management of an estate footprint of 24 million m² across the NHS in England. 

Estates are at the centre of the Government’s plans for transforming the NHS and the largest hospital building plan in a generation was launched in 2019. It plans to deliver a long-term programme of investment in health infrastructure, with an investment of £2.8 billion for six large hospitals to be built by 2025. A further 21 schemes will be delivered between 2025 and 2030.

Transforming the NHS Estate 2022 aims to brings together senior leaders from across the health sector, Government, academia and the wider public sector. It is expected to hear about the latest policy updates across the industry and address the challenges facing the sector in these unprecedented times.  


The Second Annual Transforming the NHS Estate Event 2022 aims to provide delegates with the latest policy updates regarding the current status of capital funding and the maintenance backlog. 

Case studies are expected to provide a practical insight into how NHS trusts have implemented transformed estates in their regions.

Last year’s Transforming the NHS Estate 2021 event featured presentations from representatives of NHS Estates Delivery Unit, NHS Shared Business Services, Department of Health and Social Care, University of East London, and more. Presenting Partners Arco, Gama Healthcare, Tio Fire Safety, and Hysopt shared industry insight and expertise via case study and seminar sessions.
